Hyperlipidemia (High Cholesterol) Research Study

Do you have high cholesterol or elevated triglycerides?
You may be eligible to take part in a clinical research study focused on improving treatments for high cholesterol.

What is Hyperlipidemia?
Hyperlipidemia is a condition where the levels of fats (also called lipids) in your blood—such as bad cholesterol (LDL) or triglycerides—are too high. Over time, this buildup can lead to heart disease, heart attack, or stroke.

Many people can help manage their cholesterol through healthy eating, regular exercise, and maintaining a healthy weight. However, others may also need medication—sometimes for life—to keep their cholesterol under control.

Why Participate in a Research Study?
By joining a study, you can help researchers explore new and potentially more effective treatments for managing cholesterol levels. Participants may also receive study-related medical assessments and care at no cost.
