Patient Information Regarding COVID-19 : Updated July 12, 2022

If you have a confirmed case of COVID-19, been in close contact with anyone who has had a confirmed case of COVID-19 or have any of the following symptoms outlined below, we ask that you call our office at 519-659-4040 to reschedule your appointment. The study team will attempt to make contact the day before your scheduled appointment to perform a COVID telephone screen and inform you of any important appointment information (ex. fasting, samples needing collected, etc.). Please be aware of the following COVID-related signs/symptoms:

– Fever
– New onset of cough / worsening of cough
– Shortness of breath / difficulty breathing
– Sore throat / difficulty swallowing
– Chills
– Headache
– Nausea

For patients with a scheduled office appointment:

Great News! Our Clinical Research Reception area is now open. Upon arrival please register with research staff through the “Milestone Research” office door.

Once your arrival has been noted you will be escorted to the appropriate room where you’ll have your temperature taken.

If you present with respiratory, cold or flu-like symptoms MASKS ARE REQUIRED. If you have NO SYMPTOMS, wearing a mask during your appointment will be left to your discretion.

• We ask that you bring your own mask; if you do not own a mask then there are some available on site.
